Class Descriptions
ABQ Somos Pilates offers individual and group instruction on
Reformer / Equipment Classes

Fundamental
Covers all Pilates fundamentals: breath, centering, control, fluidity and precision for beginner students or for those focusing on rehabilitation, neuro-muscular re-patterning, balance, and core strength.

Intermediate
Student has a familiarity with the principals of the Pilates Method and has no major injuries that may inhibit full participation in a class setting.

Advanced
Student is extremely comfortable with all Pilates principles and is capable of performer all exercises with control and precision.
***Students interested in registering for advanced classes must be approved by the instructor.
Bodhi Suspension System™

Bodhi- Learning the Ropes
Literally learn how to use the Bodhi Suspension System™ ropes. Focus on stretch, controlled strength and balance. Two and three points of suspension.

Bodhi- burn
A fast paced, high repetition class using all the Bodhi choreography with quick transitions. All systems a-go for stretch, strength and cardio utilizing two, three and four points of suspension.

Bodhi- flight
It's time to fly with all limbs off the ground! This class incorporates Level 1 and 2 principles and adds additional balancing challenges. One, two, three and four points of suspension. This class will lift you and your spirit off the floor.
Mat and Ball Classes

Ball
Ball Pilates requires focus. Moving on the ball, has you focusing on recruiting a lot of the the body's deep stabilizing muscles.

Mat
Mat class exercises enhance flexibility, strength and lead to better posture.
